Based on 823 reviewsNew Silver Crown Panciteria, Inc. is widely recognized for its authentic Chinese cuisine offered at affordable prices, making it a popular dining choice in Caloocan. Customers appreciate the generous portion sizes and diverse menu options, with many dishes such as fried rice, curry, and seafood receiving particular praise. While the restaurant’s ambiance reflects a vintage, no-frills style that some may find dated, it complements the focus on quality, home-cooked meals. Service can be slow during peak times due to fresh preparation and high patronage, requiring some patience from diners. Overall, the brand is valued for delivering satisfying, budget-friendly meals in a nostalgic setting frequented by families and regulars alike.
If you're looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant and not mindful of the appearance of the place, then this is highly recommended. The price is also very affordable. Will come back again but will do it on weekdays.
The food was good, lots of different dishes to choose from. Really satisfied with all the dishes we ordered, specially the curry. My family enjoyed the food. They have big servings, and also the price is reasonable for every dish's serving. Want to try other variants next time. We ordered Silver Crown Chicken, Curry Chicken, Camaron Rebosado, Sweet & Sour Meatballs, Silver Crown Pancit Canton, Broccoli with Beef, Shredded Beef w/ Button Mushroom, Silver Crown Chopsuey Guisado, and Ampalaya Carne Guisado. Food was served on time. if you're craving for Chinese dishes, highly recommended this restaurant.
Good Chinese food at affordable prices. The vibe of the place looks like a vintage no-nonesense Chinese resto just ready to dish out food from the kitchen so do not expect fancy visuals/aesthetics. Food here is really bang for the buck.Favorites: Fried rice, shanghai rolls, sweet and sour pork
Delicious food with good prices. Dinadayo ko pa ito before the pandemic. Though for now I just order via phone. Must try - camaron rellenado and spicy spare ribs. The only downside here is that a lot of people really eat here. There was even a time when I almost waited for an hour to have my food served. You need to bring a lot of patience when eating during peak time.
One of my family's favorite chinese restaurants in the area. Food is cheap but delicious. Service is just the same, it will take a while before food is served since it is cooked fresh. The ambiance is typical Chinese restaurant during the good old days. These were taken during my late father's birthday. We used to come here with him during his birthday or when there were special occasions.Glad to be back here after three years.
It's a nice place. No booming karaoke sounds, no poisonous cigarette smokes. You can dine and drink here. The price is right, the menu offers a wide array of foods.
The restaurant is known for its Chinese cuisine and is a great place to enjoy delicious food at an affordable price. The sweet and sour pork, lumpiang shanghai frito, and prawns are some of the recommended dishes. However, we have noted that the waiting time can be long due to the high volume of customers. The price range per person is PHP 150-200, which I consider cheap. Our order that time only totalled to PHP 375 and we had a lot of leftovers. The restaurant can get hot inside during peak hours and the waiters may ignore you sometimes. These are valid points to consider when visiting the restaurant.Overall, Silver Crown Restaurant is a great place to enjoy Chinese cuisine at an affordable price. The food is phenomenal and the staff is welcoming. However, the waiting time can be long due to the high volume of customers. If you’re planning to visit, it’s advisable to avoid peak hours to avoid the heat and long waiting times.
Good food and very affordable.
